Another one week Post op!

Hello there, I am one week and a day post-op Pain has been minimal, more-so just soreness in some of the lap. incision areas. doing pretty good with food, they pushed me on to pureed foods this past monday which are all sitting well thus far. How long did it take everyone to et to a point of a pain free status from the surgery ? Would I be safe to assume that the internal swelling continues for at least two weeks ?

Yep, Those first 2 to 3 weeks suk for most everyone. The more you can walk, The faster you’ll get to feeling better. Keep sipping all the water you can, and get some rest while you’re healing. Best Wishes- Dx

Thanks for the reply, No problems getting in my water or my foods. No Nausua , no vomitting... I actually have hunger at times. If I get in too much walking I am quite sore that evening, and sore the next day, but I guess thats the price you pay.
