Newly Formed "Dallas Area Mens Network"
Tim Armstrong had come up with this idea to start up a men's only support group for his area. I liked it so much that I asked a few guys in the Dallas area if they would like to give it a shot. Well, last night was our first men's support group meeting. Although, it wasn't exactly a runaway success, but it does have a lot of potential. I really enjoy the atmosphere here on the men's board, and I wanted to somehow recreate that in our group. So far there are 11 members in the group, but I'm hoping, as time goes by, that many more guys will see the benefit of a men's only group and join up. One of the guys in the group is well known here on the men's board, his screen name is Paul in Dallas. He and his wife are really good people, I enjoyed meeting both of them. The rest of the guys are from the Texas board. I'm going to encourage them to check our men's board out, no arm twisting though. I'll keep you posted on our progress and will take some pictures at our next meeting and post them.
