Glad you posted. As the other guys have noted, anxiety prior to surgery is pretty common, probably unavoidable for most of us. So try to tell yourself that you're well on the road to being "normal"! Surgery day and immediately after will be uncomfortable, but you'll be medicated and have residual anesthesia in your system for up to a couple of weeks. So hang on and in no time you'll be so very happy you went through the nervous time.
