When I get skinny, I'm buying a scooter for my around town visits or maybe just ride my bike. But my Tahoe has to take a rest because I can't keep on filling this biotch up, each fill up costs me 60-70 bucks! Geezzz...
Bob,
I don't know where you live, but I'm in San Francisco. I'd LOVE to see gas at $3 a gallon!!! At the rate that things are going, it won't be long before we see the first $4 a gallon gas here. I'm thinking of trading in the low-milage Ford minivan for little 40 mpg Toyota. Then, I'd just rent a van when I really need one for family affairs, road trips, and such.

Dang Dennis! I figured you all being on the coast - gas would be cheaper and in the heartland they would be higher. Four dollars a gallon would make me have a bad day every day. I just traded a pickup for my Tahoe and love it but Zowee it likes gas. I told my wife that if gas keeps going up I'm buying a corrolla or camry or something that sips rather than guzzles this S%@t! Even battery powered cars are starting to look good, 70 mpg or the like, sure ain't like the good old days of pulling your Roadrunner up to buy 5.00 in Ethyl is it? Damn!

I agree Dave, these damn capitalists have to go. You don't hear any 'American' oil company talking hydrogen - battery - etc. (that would dagger them), they start talking ethonall (sic) which in turn takes away from the world food market - they use that as an excuse to raise prices across the board on grains and every finished product thereof. It's a @$*($g nightmare how much these capitalists hate the American consumer.
I fully expect that Honda/Toyota/Nissan the rest wil be the only manufacturers who will be pushing for battery/hydrogen and the like.
Oops, sorry for going off.
