DD had his surgery a couple of weeks ago didn't he? We miss the big lug.
Floyd was in the Tuesday night chatroom and said he'd spoken with Double D and all had gone well with his surgery. He was out and about in his yard the day after he got home from the hospital he said. Floyd did think it was unusual not to see Double D on the boards and went to call him on the phone. About that time I lost connectivity and I never did hear if he was able to get in touch with him.

While I was on vacation, I had lunch with DD. Such a pleasure to meet a great guy. When I returned on Tuesday, the guys in the chat said he hadn't been around so I called him. He's doing fine. His wife is taking a class and needs the computer, so that's why he hasn't been on. He went back to work yesterday so we should see him more now.

I'm still here!
My wife is finishing up 2 online courses, so she has our home computer tied up. I've been checking in, but I don't have much "tube time" to post.
I started back to work yesterday. I'm buried up to my eyeballs in work, but it's nice to be back in the saddle.
I drove to Detroit Wednesday to watch a Tigers game with my son. On the way home he wanted to stop a Taco Bell for supper. I had a bean burrito, and experienced my first dumping episode. Not pleasant.
Otherwise, things are good. Incisions are healing nicely. I'm on soft foods, and I'm down almost 20 lbs. since surgery.

Glad you're back! Sounds like the weight loss is really progressing. Dumping on a taco? That's pretty unusual. Might want to try it again in a couple of weeks, with a smaller quantity. Sometimes it's just the shock of something new into the system. I had that happen with Yogurt and frozen blueberries once...next time I ate it I was fine.
