I am home
Thanks to all of you that sent me good tidings during my hospital stay.
I was discharged yesterday around 4:30PM. I had begun to run a fever in the afternoon so there was some delay. When I got home I slept until this morning. Other than the antibiotic which tastes like hell, I am following the recommendations easily. Haven't had the need for pain killers, so I hope I am past that.

DrJco,
Glad you felt like posting with us today. Good to hear from you and glad you are doing so well.
Take care of yourself and don't feel bad about resting. As long as you are getting your protein, water, and supplements and taking a couple of walks a day, sleep is your friend and the recovery grace period is the best itme to take advantage. Life will start back at you soon enough. rest while you can.
Welcome back on this side of the knife.
Congrats!!!! Great to hear you are home and feeling well enough to be on the net....took me a couple of days.....as stated keep up the walking and the fluid intake it really does help. And of course get rest...Hope it continues as well for you as it began.

Congrats John! Glad things went well other than the slight fever. I'm seeing Dr. V this afternoon and then surgery on Wednesday. Getting anxious! Feel like I'm at the edge of the pool and getting up the nerve to jump in.
