Here's the deal. Been on the liquids to soft food transition. So, SlimFast High Protien fills the lunch bill. Go to go right? I run outta SlimFast. The shop has a snack fund. Is a rectum rocket (microwave burrito) all that bad? Hot Pocket? Sugeestions? Anyone? Bueler? Bueler?

I would stay away from that stuff for now.  Your stomach isn't ready for that.  Look for yogert, cottage cheese, eggs, or soup.  You sure don't want to chance it. Will

Will, is right.  If you absolutely must eat the burrito, make sure it is a bean burrito and only eat the refried beans.  Refried beans are considered a soft food.  Be careful how much you eat.  Whatever, you do don't eat the shell.  This will cause you problems with your pouch at this point. Rich

I wouldn't suggest eating beans at work just yet, unless you have your own office.  The first time I ate soft food (oatmeal) was in Vegas, let's just say that I cleared out a good portion of the casino

Maybe I should try that next time my wife and I go.  We went in Feb, and the cigarette smoke really got to us.  Rather deal with the bad gas.  I'd go with some skim milk or something along those lines.  If you're right at the three week mark, you don't want to put anything you listed into your pouch yet.  Even the burrito - while beans are okay, the spices might not agree with you, and as BJ said, you may end up with some explosive results that could end up being a tad embarassing. Good luck!

I work for the U. S. Air Force in a room full of "cells". As long as the gas moves, I'm OK with it. Farting is expected, and almost a prerequisite, for a crusty ol' retire MSgt like me.  Afterall, I have to compete with Al two cells down!  He be NASTY!

hot pocket! The shear thought of a greezy hot pocket slipping into my pouch makes me foam. If I find myself out on the town without my arsenal ****ep a soft cooler full of protein and water) I stop in a gas station and grab milk. Funny how a small bottle of milk totally fills me up for a whole morning.

My ultimate solution. I went to BX and bought StarKist Lunch -To-Go tuna in water.  Mixed the tuna with just enough of the fat free mayo to help it go down easier.  I put about half of the pickle relish in it.  It came with six crackers; ate three. Being as my Band hasn't been filled yet, I was still bit hungry. I stuck it out until liquid snack time(EAS AdvantEDGE Choclate Fudge). Snack was good but, I wouldn't suggest it as a "meal" at 17 days out. Its consistancy is that of Low Fat Chocolate Milk. It doesn't "stick to your ribs" like a High Protein SlimFast would.
