Move over Losers, tomorrow is the day!

I’m coming to the locker room, I have been getting ready for a little time at home.

I got out the patio furniture out so I can sit in the sun, walk the dog and get some reading in and oh ya sip, sip, sip.

If I had to stay in the house and watch daytime TV for a week I’d kill myself.

I have been pushing it at the gym, lots of abs stuff and upper body preparing for the day but the liquid diet has made me very lethargic. Maybe after I lose enough weight my surgeon will give me some store bought knees and I can get as active as you all.

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone has been giving me the last couple of weeks..

OK guys, I thought it was a bit crowded in here, then I realized I was just sitting on my deflated stomach flab.  There lots of room for your new losers!!! Best of luck to both you guys.  Bret, get that B-12 going or some liquid B complex, it will help with the energy.  The knees,..that a different issue. I'll be looking for the exciting hospital experience from youse guys by the weekend, when you get home and are looking for something to do between pills, protein, sipping water, and sleeping. You are about to go over the top of the highest peak of the roller coaster.  Throw your arms up and enjoy the ride.

ALRIGHT BRET! I am a big fan of visualization and my recovery has been super smooth. Try this and see what you think. Your in the bed  after surgery and after you finally get a few minutes to yourself, take some nice deep breaths and visualize your pouch. See the staples all neat and shiney. See the redness and use your imagination on how what you are seeing is being healed. You have healing vision. What you stare at is being bathed in healing. See the holes made by the instruments and and train your thoughts and focus seeing them heal. I know this sounds new-agey but think of it this way. You are taking a few minutes to be calm and relaxed and that alone is worth doing. You are going to do great!
