Fellers, The first few days out of the Hospital and my BM's were loose. I am still on the same liquid diet but now BM's are bigger than pre-op!   Surely this isn't what has remained inside is it?     Your thoughts? Thanks, Elliott

Oh man - you're just finding that out huh???    Congratulations, not only are you on the Loser's Bench now, you're also a professional on the throne!  Your crapper requirements are now smaller seats but bigger bowls.  Oh, a wide selection of industrial strength air fresheners is also recommended!!!     Can't wait to see some more of the replies on this one!!   There will likely be some classics! Hi Elliott,  Sounds like your right on track. This may be to much information but I have weighed my self after having a good dump one morning and thinking about how much better I felt and I like to refer to it as a pound o poop. It just so happened that I had weighed my self before I pooped. Yes that is a lot of poop and stink, my wife says they left something in me that is rotting.  I don't think it is what was left inside, your body is processing things differently.  pan head

Thanks Panhead, I am amazed at what a liquid diet can produce. Had to use the lamaze method for delivery!

oh yeah, i only go once a day but like pan head says, i really weigh less when i go. i mean these things are tanks. i can be 2 or more pounds lighter, i mean it. sometimes i have to flush twice. it's amazing that that little pouch creates aircraft carriers in there. pics to follow!

Elliot, I was cleaned out when I went in for surgery. So, there was nothing left inside. One thing I have learned from my students; protein drinks make for some nasty odiferious emanations. For about three days, I didn't have to sit down in the bathroom. Well, after that catheter, it was easier to pee like a girl but, you get my drfit. Come about day 3 or, 4 post-op, I began to "vent". There's not much left of a protein drink after your body is done with it. But, after a few days, what has built up, is truely resrespectful to the Throne! Today is day 14 since surgery. I generally don't need to ascend to the throne until after that first cup of sludge at work. BM's more difficult but, not as much mass as pre-op. I think once I'm back to having more food, it change.

As for me, I'm 3 months out of RNY, and although I don't go as often (maybe every 2-3 days), when I do go, it's the size of a friggin' pineapple.....
