FART

Had a flattering FART this week.  Got an email from a woman I attended a meeting with and she asked if I'd like to meet her after work some day "if I was unattached, of course". Well, that was a kick.  I can't remember the last time something like that happened!  I emailed her back that I was very attached and told my wife I better start wearing my wedding ring, now that it actually fits again.  If you're like me, you might have put the ring away some time ago as it no longer fit past a certain weight.   The attention and comments are very nice, but don't be tempted Brothers!  If you have a wife who loves you, honor that and wear your ring! Dennis I still cant wear my ring and dont think that I will ever be able to wear it again unless I have it resized .  I make my living with my hands ( machinest )  My hands have spread out , so ta speak.  Even though I have lost 134 lbs my hands have not gotten any smaller . I cant wear rings or watch's in the shop ( at work ) anyway . I have been married for over 24 yrs now and wouldent know any other way of life . I love my wife dearley and would never do anything to tear that apart . I have known my wife since the fifth grad , and we were friends long before we were lovers . GOOD JOB Dennis  Nick

Dennis,    I just got my wedding ring back today.  I had to have it resized from an 11 to a 9.  Now it doesn't fall off of my finger.    Nice complement though having someone trying to hit on you.              Life is great,  Rick

After that story you will be lucky to ever walk out the door without a ring on again.  I imagine you wife did not find the email as amusing as you did.  That is good advice to avoid the temptation though.  Still it must have felt pretty good.  Was she good lookin?

Hi Dennis, congrats on the great ego boost.  Awesome!!!  I'm having the opposite problem right now, my ring is starting to fall off.  I have to remember to take it off before I work out so it doesn't fall off.  I guess that is a good problem to have.   BTW, also congrats on not being tempted and doing the right thing.  One of the challenges we as big guys have is that is had probably been a long time since we have had that attention from women and we can get used to it/or attracted to that.  Great advice you give here. Greg
