I'm doing pretty well, Joe, considering. I just didn't know what to say. So, I just jumped right in and, typed the first profound thing that came to mind this early in the morning.

I'm the only one who didn't have his navel violated?  I feel so...   isolated.   Y'all have been great and I look forward to just simply yakking about life with an occasional mention of weightloss.  Weightloss?  I'm at 305 this morning!  Yeah!  I've tried to put my ticker on the sit but the new profile don't like that. Hi is a good start. Where are you at on the WLS journey and are you good with your results to-date? Go ahead, wow me with your best shot.

I am at the very beginning. I just had Lap-Band surgery on 4/16. So, I'm still on liquids transitioning to mushy foods at night. I'm still trying to figure out what enough food in my new stomach is. They say to eat until you are "not hungry before you are full". WT2 is that all about? I have never been "not hungry" and "not full" before. So, my wife (post-op RNY) portions out my dinner. I eat it in the prescribed manner and try to figure out what my stomach feels like. I don't feel any different than before eating other than happy to chew something (the cats have narrowly escaped a miserable fate). My gal at the WLS surgeon's office emailed me and said that my new stomach was formed around a 30cc balloon. So, for now, I just have to look at a volume of 30cc as a meal. So, I'm still in discovery I guess. I have lost 16lbs. since surgery. That's a happy thing. I know that it's not going to always be like that. But, if I can lose 1 or 2 pounds a week fairly consistantly, I'll be yippy-skippy. I guess I can say that I am good with my results... so far.

Well, I guess it may slow to that point down the road but I'm guessing you'd better prepare for quite a bit of yippy-skippy before then.  Good idea to get a visual on the 30cc thing. I'll look forward to your future posts and success stories.  Yippy-skippy,...I like that!

Yeah, I was back to work in 7 days. Food now is SlimFast (I call them hot Pockets in a can), the protein mix my wife uses, and whatever evil mushy 30cc concoction she comes up with for dinner at nite.  Never saw a popsicle. Drank a lot of non-fat broth and pureed soup thinned with non-fat broth at first.  I'm still sore and a bit swollen but, I'm good.
