Great Topic Tim, Pre-op: Breakfast large bowl of sweet cereal 2-3 biscuits w/ gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs w/cheese, choclate milk Lunch Cheeseburger, onion rings, large coke or shake 2 bean burritos, one soft taco, large sweet tea 2 turkey sandwiches, chips w/ dip, 32 oz. sweet tea Dinner 16 oz prime rib, loaded baked potato, salad, lots of bread, few glasses of sweet tea Chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, bread, sweet tea Large thick crust pepperoni pizza Dessert Cakes, ice cream, cheesecake, little debbies, hostess, etc. Post-op: Breakfast 1 package of oatmeal, coffee or just coffee Lunch small chili from Wendy's with a few crackers low carb turkey wrap (deli turkey, 2% cheese, light mayo, pickle, onions, low carb wrap) Dinner 6 oz filet, green beans, baked potato 6 oz grilled chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes Desserts S/F puddings S/F applesauce S/F peaches w/ cottage cheese Breakfast and lunch menu stays pretty much the same, most of the time. Dinner changes from night to night. I try to stay with low carb, high protein, sometimes I don't do so good, just being honest. I don't think my tastes have changed much, either. I still enjoy all the foods that I did before surgery. The difference is moderation. The portions I eat are much smaller, and much healthier. Ronnie
