All done but the Cuttin!

Well I went for my final preop appt.  Dr. said labs all looked good and I am ready for Surgery next Tuesday.  Getting a little excited and anxious.

You're gonna do fine Al. The hard parts over. The jumping through hoops. The waiting. The anxiety. The soul- searching, it's all behind you. Now, "there ain't nuttin' to it, but ta do it". Looking forward to calling you, " a loser buddy of mine"  DD 

I'm glad for you Al. Won't be much longer now. Looks like you might be coming home same day I'm going in. Lets keep in touch and compare our progress. Don

Hey Al, There's proably no way not to be anxious; it comes with the territory. So you're right on schedule. As for being excited--go for it! Next week at this time you'll be a water-sippin', sugar-free jello spoonin', broth drinkin', sugar-free popsicle lickin' post-op! Hang on for a great trip. We'll be waiting for on the Loser's Bench.

Hey Alan, Congratulations on making through all the red-tape.   I'm very excited for you, and all the positive changes that will come in the weeks, months, and years to come. I'm six weeks post-op today, and already my life is so much better in so many ways!!!!!   Congrats, and best of luck to you on surgery day. Chuck

Al, You are going to feel 100% better!  I was awfully nervous and excited too.  I finally calmed down in pre op when I talked to my surgeon.  Just take some family with you for support.  Keep us posted on your progress. Kent

Good luck Alan.  Keep a positive attitude and things will be great.  I am now 5 weeks post-op and things are simply amazing and I can't believe I waited as long as I did before deciding to have it done.  Best of luck!
