Anyone have the VSG procedure

I had the VSG just a little over 3 months ago and I am down 90 pounds and counting.  I had a very high bmi pre-op and the VSG was the recommended procedure by my surgeon.  I was worried about the absorption issues with the RNY and would only get it if it was my only option.  Luckily my surgeon has done many many VSG's and suggested with my higher bmi to do a LAP VSG which after studying the differences made all the difference in the world to me to go with the procedure.  Of course having my insurance approve to pay for it helped to

I had a VSG in Feb. I have lost 50 ls with the procedure and 90 lbds total. It defintely changes your intake amount.  Best of luck BIGGS
