back from surgery!
Welcome back and enjoy the ride!
The water will go in soon, don't worry. Pretty soon you'll realise that liquids no longer fill you up. The suture should be no problem. My understanding is, in this kind of situation, they usually do a double row of suture and there is no proof as to which is stronger - sutures or staples.
What would I do if I were post-op again? In addition to the usual diet and exercise, I would try and retain all of the benefits that there are to being obese. For example, dense bones and greater-than-average physical strength. Working up to pretty heavy compound weight lifting exercises are a good way. Just my way of thinking, though. Not everyone sees that as important.
Good Luck on the Journey,
