Denied by Insurance Company

Dan, I had a similar experience, I had switched PCP mid way and was denied.

I talked my new PCP in to resubmitting and 1 week later I got approved.

Everyone I have talked too has had to appeal or resubmit it seem as they said above the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Bah, this is my nightmare, jump through all the hoops hoping for surgury by the end of the year only to be denied. I hope you have success with the appeal and dont have to go through the six months yet again.

Hi Dan, Key words are "not for anything on my behalf ." This just happened to me a few weeks ago. All my requirements were not sent to Ins. by  office girl and I was denied. Once they were all re-submitted I was told that I would have to wait to get reviewed.  I was looking at another month or more but here I am 5 days post-op. Don't give up and try to remain friendly on the phone and I bet once everything is turned in RIGHT  you will be on your way. You have done your work they need to do theirs now. Once it starts happening, you will be amazed how fast things go. Waiting makes time creep along but you are closer every day. It'll happen.

I was denied at first also - then i had to go on a 3 month diet program.  They resubmitted for the approval Friday 4-20.  I am hoping that I hear soon, but they said probably 30 days!!  Keep it up and fight!!  Let me know if i can help in any way.
