Piece of cake...
Way to go DD Dude. Welcome home.
Glad you still got your sense of humor. These next couple of weeks will be real different. No food, no hunger, tired but need to walk to pass gas and feel better. Sipping water an oz at a time over 30 minutes, it gets a bit tediuos but in two weeks, you'll move on to more exciting stuff.
Get some sleep, catch up some movies you've wanted to see and hadn't had time to watch.
Oh, and come out and poke some fun at us old geeser gulley washers. Tell some scary lies to the pre-ops,..like I rolled over on the op table during surgery and they sewed-up my butt while my guts fell out on the floor. Other than that, everything went pretty smooth.
Take care guy. It take a few weeks before you'll have much energy. Do but don't over do.
Joe
Yo, DeeDee!
So glad to hear everything went well. Isn't it funny how surgery nurses get so used to "the mill" that they forget what does and does not put us off while waiting to get in. I don't remember if I told this before or not, but My surg was just before Christmas. I got pretty nervous, so the nurse got me a little some-some. Well, it was enough to allow the nurses to somehow convince me to sing to them as they wheeled me down to surgery. Blatent taking advantage of a dope-head, I tell ya.
Well. After i finished my solo the anesthesiologist amended my legal disclaimer by stating that passing the tube down my throat might damage my vocal chords. Ya, then I woke up a few hours later. What a fantastic way to go under.
Well, fart away buddy. Remember, whatever you encounter, it has probably been experienced by most of us too. That being said, don't hesitate to post even the dumbest of questions on the locker room.
Welcome to the loosers.

DD,
Good to know everything went well.
You trying to set a record for the shortest hopspital stay? I wasn't released until day 4!
Everything your going through now, or will be going through in the first couple of weeks, is a small price to pay.
Get plenty of rest.
Congratulations on becoming a loser!

So glad you have pulled trough without any complications. Now that you're a loser please share your FARTs with us. Let us know what questions or concerns, as you may have noticed as I have, you won't be the only one that has a particular situation - someone else has been through.
Keep up the sipping and walking.
God Bless
Chris
DD-
Good to have you back, Man!
Glad to hear all went well.
Yeah... the waiting part must have sucked. My surgery was scheduled for 11:00AM... I was waiting until 4:45PM!
Awful.
Anyhoo - get your walking & water in and you'll be fine in no time.
Oh... and see if any of them neighbor ladies can give you a happy ending.
Be Well,
A.J.
