Well, I must admit to you all that today was ont a good day.  Today was a day..that I ate everything in sight (not bad things..but still ate)...Cereal bars (100 calorie kind), some pretzels, crackers, etc.  Just food... real bad day...  Why???  Well today during school we were put in lock down...a suspected murderer came into the building...and one issue led to another...  quite a stressful sitauation.... if you are interested in what seems like a typical day theses days...here is the site... http://www.wtopnews.com/nid=25&sid=1118779  thanks for the friendship... Right now, I could really use it... feeling very alone at the moment...

Sorry to hear about your day. I know they can be stressful. My wife also works in a school and some of the stories she comes home with..................... But hang in there, I know you can get back on track. You didn't go through the surgery and all just to fall back into old bad habits. There's been alot of terrible things happening in our schools from Columbine, to Pa and now Virginia Tech and unfortunately things happen that are out of our control. But you are in a very special position. While you may never know *****st assured you will touch some youngster's life. I'm 52 yrs old and I can still think of a couple of teachers *****ally had an impact on my life and helped me become the person I am today. I for one salute you...........

Hang in there. My wife and I are teachers too. It's really unnerving to do "armed intruder" drills for staff, faculty, and students alike. Isn't it interesting how days like this make us reexamine not ony our situation in the world, but how we eat our way through it. What type of school to you work at? We're both middle school teachers.
