A little preop squeaker today

I went in for my preop group meeting today to get more of the products my docs use and to go over the diet and instructions for before and after surgery.  I have been on the products for 12 days now when they weighed me I have lost 20 lbs,  I was happy to see that.  I have to be on the diet for another 2 weeks before surgery, if I could lose another 20 that would be great.  My liver should be shrunk down to nothing by then.

yep, just keep doing what they ask to make their job easier. they don't want your liver the size of jabba the huts spleen so you're doing them and yourself a big favor. good luck

Keep up the great work - it is WELL worth it come surgery day.   I was 522 on surgery day (down 25 pounds thanks to liquid diet), and my doc was able to do a Lap RNY instead of an open procedure.    Best of Luck to you - keep us posted, Chuck

Way to go Alan - we will be thinking about you over the next couple weeks and keeping you in our prayers. THAT IS A GREAT HEAD START.  My guess is that you will loose more than 20 more in the next 2 weeks on a liquid diet.     GOD Bless! Chris 326/208/175
