Good Wednesday morning everyone! Time to get going! It's "Hump" day. We are half way through the week! Our challenge today is to be bold. Don't hide in a shell any longer. Come out and be bold. Most of us as obese people were timid. We sat back and let other's speak, listened rather than talk, we didn't volunteer, we held back when we wanted to really do something due to fear. Well, it's time we overcome those fears. BE BOLD! You had WLS to change. Changes are coming! Realize that you, even though you have not had WLS or if you already have, that you do NOT have to be so timid or so fearful. BE BRAVE! BE BOLD! Stand UP! You are someone. You are BEAUTIFUL! You are handsome! You are going to CHANGE FROM FEAR TO BOLD! So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on some awesome Swiss Almond Mocha coffee and it is so good! I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday! Be blessed,
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"

I dropped 3 more pounds since Sunday as of the digital scales reading this morning. Heck,..the fact I can weigh at home now and not just at teh doctors is a blessing. Thanks for the BOLD reminder,...this is definitly a perspective changing journey if we allow ourselves to be different from the old habits which are neceessary for our long-term success. Oh,..and thanks for getting up and turning on the Internet for us each morning. I did a lemon yogurt with some regular life cereal this morning.  It was different but I needed a protein bar withing the follwoing hour to have some zip in my step,...well honestly, to get my head off my desk.  After a 10 a.m. Sobe LEAN energy drink cut about 50% with water, I'm starting to feel awake and functional again. Happy Wednesday Guys!

Hey there Joe, Since you mentioned digital scales.... I was wondering, do you weigh every morning?  I have weighed every morning since my WLS.  It seems to keep me on track.  Before the surgery, I too was so big my digital scale would show error.  Just wondering. Have a great day, Kent

I do weigh most mornings just because it keeps me pumped most of the time (and I got a scales and I can weigh; Wohoo,...mental case,..ain't I??).  But weekly is less nerve-racking and eliminates the water retention and body adjusting periods when your waistline and body weight don't seem to be working in the same direction.  Whatever makes you happy,...do it.  When it gets a littel frustrating, hold off a few days between weigh ins.  Sometimes I like to just look at the sacle reading ,..just becasue it is hard to believe that is my weight!
