Hey my brother from another mother Good luck and I hope to soon join you no the loser's bench.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, yelling "..........Holy Shit.......... what a ride".

Dave, you have been an inspiration as FD and I know you are going to just triple that as SD. My thoughts and prayers are with you.  And I definitely want all the gory details.   Preacher Creature Bob.

Hey Dave, We appreciate you too, buddy. You're a valued part of this group of guys.  Dex is right about the meds, ask for something to calm your nerves a bit. I did, and it really helped. Well, actually, it just made me drunk and I didn't care what happened after that.  I would've been ok with anything short of "....and you're going to feel a little ***** in your mouth..." (you would have to knock me completely out for that one). After surgery, tell them to keep the pain meds coming. There's no sense in being in any pain. I had open RNY, the only pain I remember was during the process of standing up, that's it. I had a morphine button, and was not afraid to use it.  I'll be thinking of you tomorrow morning. You'll be back with the gory details before you know it. Ronnie

Looks like the whole country is rooting for your speedy recovery. My only advice is: walk walk walk walk walk walk walk. Make them ask you to change your route for fear of grinding a path in the hallway! Best to ya!--Jake
