Water Strategies

I have been able to get in all my water without too much trouble and I have a good and convienient strategy for doing it.  I bought 2 of the 3 quart rubbermaid pitchers with nice sealing screw on lids. http://www.rubbermaid.com/rubbermaid/product/product.jhtml?p rodId=HPProd210002 I always have two pitchers of crystal light made and I use 3 quarts of water to make them.  I further dilute the crystal light by only filling my glass half with the drink and half with water.  One of the other men's board memebrs told me a long time ago that the stuff tastes just as good diluted and I think he was right.  By diluting it you stretch your dollar a lot further and reduce the amount of artificial sweetner you take in if that is a concern to you.   For me the pitchers make mixing the drink convienent too, so that give me one less excuse not to make some when I run out.   Best of luck getting all you water in my friends.  Take care of yourselves and each other.   Scott

Glad you got your PC fixed and are numbered amongst us again. Glad your liquid consumption strategy is working for you. I'm just a basic kinda guy and coun****er bottles; 16 oz per bottle x 2 is 32 ozs and 32 x 2 is 64 min oz a day  = 4 bottles minimum, more is gravy, less is constipation. Simple minded. That new Vitamin Water stuff from Glacier ain't bad,..and I get a chuckle from readigng the labels. Any ways, good to see your smiling face out here. Joe

Paul is absolutely right - way cheaper.  This might seem strange, but the Wal-Mart brand is calorie free and the Crystal Light is 5 calories every 8 oz.  I say strange not because of that, but the fact that I actually lose weight when I drink the Wal-Mart brand at a much higher pace than if I do the Crystal Light.  And it might only be 300 calories a week.  I think it has more to do with how my body deals with the other stuff in Crystal Light.

Hey Scott, Good way to keep it convenient. I’m a "Bottle-Filler" myself….

Mostly just plain filtered water…. I’ll freeze up several and take some along with a thawed one into my office. As they thaw, they get drunk! When I do "flavored water" like the Crystal-Lite or the Wally-World Brand… I’ll cut em with even more water and slip in about a bottle of isopure zero carb pre-mixed Into each quart or two. That way I get that little trickle of the extra 40 gms of protein throughout the days/days. Keep hitting tha****er! Best Wishes- Dx
