The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In ____April 14th! scale (I'm 'clocking-in' a little early...On the road and on borrowed computer) Congratulations and Welcome to our New Guys. For those of you headed in next week--Have the Greatest! For those of you just home—"Sippin' tha****er, and Walkin' Bunches"- Hang in there, And all of you "Livin' on Liquid only Pre-Op Diets!! Same thoughts- It Does Get Easier Each Week! I know that using the scales can make some crazy, (Slower loss is Still Loss!) -But- Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!" Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss. I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more If the numbers climb just a little. That way, I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine. If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?" Then STAY OFF of Them! But for those who Are weighing in- Drum roll-------------------------------------- Hop your Azz up on the Scales! How much have you lost? Since Surgery? Or in Pre-Op Diet? And has the Scale moved this week for you? If so, How Much? My Starting Weight? – 385 + All Time Low – 179 Me?- Probably around my usual 181 to 182 (I'm on the road and haven't checked, but will be back by tomorrow night)

So, What about YOU? (NEW GUYS AND LURKERS? Scan back over the last months of this weekly post, And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact that there isn’t a "Typical" progress, Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!) (Plateaus DO BREAK!) (Congratulations in Advance!!) Keep It Up!!! Best Wishes-Mike Wazowski Dx

Still hanging on at 285...gotta' get this weather cleared up and remove any pretend reason for my lack of exercise!! started my trip at 384 surgery date 3/21/06 weighed in at 366 this morning was one pound up from my best and more determined than ever to get this going again!!  Started measuring my foods and being more of a slave to my food diary for awhile...when in doubt...return to the manual and follow the basics right?

Hey Guys,

Last weigh-in before internal hernia surgery! Please pray for my survival and fast recovery!

It has been a week of FARTs. Lots of new students feeling my muscles, two expressed interest in marrying me and another said she "wanted to have my baby". They are 18 and I'm 45, so not taking that too seriously.

Changed my avatar to another one with a serious expression. If I don't make it through surgery, I'll arrange a blank weekly ghost post and have the eyes follow you arround.

This week, still 165

I'll e-mail you from the Hospital in Tokyo.

Dave I pray that God will give you a measure of peace & assurance that you are going to make it over this mountain also.   Just roll with the flow and don't cut wood with the Foley.  Peace, Bob.

When I started this entire ordeal back in September I was at an all-time high at 497#.  A little over 2 weeks ago I went into the OR at 450#.  On Monday I weighed in at 419#.  On a related note; I can now wear crap that I haven't wore for 2 years. Woohoo!

i'm losing weight again. i was down to 143 on the meds but now i'm back up again. still, lower than where i should be. can't figure it out yet. i'm all muscle so i'm burning calories all day and even faster when i work out and do my treadmill. so maybe it's just my metabolism finally kicking in late in life. i'll take it!

Hey guys. I'm new here. Just found the mens forum. My PCP suggested I have WLS on Dec 9, 2006. I visited my surgeon Jan 19 for my consultation. At that time I was 342. I lost about 20 lbs prior to surgery to help shrink my liver. I had my RNY WLS on Feb 26, 2007. I last stepped on a scale a few days ago I had dropped 60 lbs. I am at (or below now) 282.
