OLE DAN'S HUMOR

Good Morning guys.  Feeling pretty good this morning.  Stimulator seems to be blocking my back pain.  Still do not see alot of relief in my arm and hand.  Doc says it could take up to 7 days to get a true picture of how well the injections work. Since I feel so good, it is time to throw out a bit of humor. Dan **************************************************** Prison Life vs Full-Time Job

In prison you spend the majority of your time in an 8' X 10' cell. At work you spend most of your time in a 6' X 8' cubicle. In prison you get three meals a day. At work you only get a break for one meal and you have to pay for that one. In prison you get time off for good behavior. At work you get rewarded for good behavior with more work. At work you must carry around a security card and unlock and open all the doors yourself. In prison a guard locks and unlocks all the doors for you. In prison you can watch TV and play games. At work you get fired for watching TV and playing games. In prison they ball-and-chain you when you go somewhere. At work you are just ball-and-chained. In prison you get your own toilet. At work you have to share. In prison they allow your family and friends to visit. At work you cannot even speak to your family and friends. In prison all expenses are paid by taxpayers, with no work required. At work you get to pay all the expenses to go to work and then they deduct taxes from your salary to pay for the prisoners. In prison you spend most of your life looking through bars from the inside wanting to get out. At work you spend most of your time wanting to get out and inside bars. In prison you can join many programs which you can leave at any time. At work there are some programs you can never get out of. In prison there are wardens who are often sadistic. At work we have managers.

Glad you are feeling better DP.  Good to hear some good news about your conditions.  Your great faith and motivation are inspiring as it would seem with your condition it would be easy to lay down and drop out of the loop of life for a while. I admire your example, your obvious perspective on whats really of most worth in this life, and the support you appear to have from your wife. The jokes are just the gravy or icing on the cake.  Keep slugg'in in there champ!

Dan thanks for stepping up to the plate and serving the humor for today. I am glad you are feeling better and appreciate the break.
Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, yelling "..........Holy Shit.......... what a ride".

Daniel Thanks for your response.  I figured that you would understand my joke more than anyone else on here. I will try and post humor whenever I can physically do it.  That does not mean I need to take joke time away from you.  There is room for two jesters on here.  We have different styles of jokes and I believe the guys on here appreciate both. Hope you are recovering from your illness. Dan

That's a good one, Dan! Sounds like relief is on the way for you. At least, that is what we are hoping and praying for.

Best Regards,

Dave
