So I'm 2-weeks out as of yesterday and bunch of the stuff I'm eating is getting old.  So who knows any good puree and shake recipes?  I'm getting tired of the turkey or salmon or tuna with tofu puree and the storebought shakes.  What can I do to mix it up a bit?  Also when will I be be able to sleep on my side?

Food wise, I'm not sure how to help ya....at two weeks I was still on pudding and soft foods not allowed pureed food till third week. But sleeping on your side.....Twards the end of my third week I woke up on my side and from there I was able to sleep on my side part of the night. But the first time I woke up on my side I was a little sore for a couple of hours....not real pain just sore. Dont ru****let your body heal.....It will know when, It may not be what you want to here I sure didnt but it will get better....Hang in there dude. .

my favorite thing so far is smoothies with tofu, soy milk, banana, and peaches. i also mixed in a little mashed potatoes when having my purees;  made it seem a little bit more normal to me. al

Egg salad is a good option, refied beans with some melted cheese on top (salsa and FF sour cream if you're allowed at this point), a fake lasagne (ricotta cheese, marinara sauce, skim mozzareela on top - melted in microwave), small curd cottage cheese (chewed very well). These are the things I ate mostly - hang in there, you'll be on regular foods soon.   And, I had trouble sleeping in my bed for about 3 weeks, and just slept in my recliner with my CPAP.    Best of luck to you, Chuck

At two weeks I was on broth, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes mashed, unsweetened applesauce, skim milk, yogurt (sugar and fat free). There are a few good receipes in "Weight Loss for Dummies"  most of them use Unjury products for protein. As for sleeping on my side that took about 3 weeks before I couls completely roll on to my side.  Before that I was obly able to roll part way.  I would stuff pillows behind me to prop myself up on my side a little just to get a different position.
