1 Year Anniversary Today

Hey gang, today is my 1 year anniversary.  I feel great.  I have gone from 432 pounds (2 weeks pre-op) to 195 today, a total loss of 237 pounds.  I have a follow-up with my surgeon on Friday.  Tomorrow I am meeting with a different surgeon  to discuss my hernia repair and abdominal wall reconstruction.  Hopefully looking to get this done in May.  To all those who are considering having WLS or those who have had it recently and are doubting the decision, take it from me, it works if you work the plan and stay the course.  I am living proof of that, as well as so many other vets here on this site.   Take care. John

Well done John, You've actually lost me (232lbs this morning) + 5lbs! I am impressed by numbers, but when I think of what you've done in more concrete terms, it's even more impressive. Thanks for sharing your good news.

Congratulations John. On losing the weight, on meeting your goal, on doing what it takes to keep your health, for continuing to take care of yourself, and for sharing it with those of us trying to follow your lead.  Thanks for the post.
