Urologist Visit

met with the urologist today.  He said I have a plaque build up and scar tissue.  He said the compression garmet caused some of the problem; however the wife being on top probably caused more problems.   Treatments   put me on 500 mgs of PABA    (para-aminobenzoic acid  ) a day for 3 months.  Doc says this breaks down the scar tissue; and should allow a full normal painless erection.   The next step would be to obtain a vacuum pump and along with the drugs; use the vacuum to straighten it out.  The drugs should break down the scar tissue; and the pump will also help with the break down.  Doc says about 75% of the cases are corrected with this treatment.   The last option would be surgery and removal of the scar tissue; and plaque build up area.  problems with this is loss of feeling in the penis; possible major ED issues; and at least loss of 1 inch in length.     GIVE ME THE DRUGS AND VACUUM...    Now I find out the drugs are not covered by my insurance; and the cost is about $300 (o'well, it is worth it in my book).     so lessons learned;   if you get your penis caught in the compression garmets after surgery; go to the urologist right away.  a quick treatment means less scare tissue; and if sugery smaller areas to be cut out.  not sure how the PABA is going to affect me but will keep notes posted.   thanks for listening guys;   mark
