what size compression shirt to buy?
well, if you wear a 3X shirt, then you SHOULD be wearing a 3X compression. They are sized as regular clothing.
That said, some guys (especially early out as they're still losing fairly quickly) will buy compression clothes one size smaller, but keep in mind that they will be EXTRA tight for a few weeks until you shrink to the true size.
hope this helped.
I wish i could help..i hate compression garments they make me feel like i'm a gigantic sausage....lol. I've bought smaller and my size, and both are "tight" they are called compression garments for a reason. The best thing to do is to go to a sporting good store, and find a few different sizes and just try them on. You may find one that you can tollerate. Scott

Rock on brother Scott.....
On the compression garments...I tried compression shorts, to keep my big thighs from scraping...wrong......the extra heat and lack of air, sent my rashes over the top...sorry too much info....
Ben, since youare trying to lose a total of around 100#, they might help you, but big big guys like me and scott, there ain't nothing gonna keep us away from the plastic surgeon, but lack of $$$

thanks G.....I'm just trying to cut back my carb intake right now...i went a bit crazy over the last few days ..and need to reign it in a bit so I can drop these last 29 lbs. I didn't know that the compression garments could cause rashes to go crazy.....can anyone say "medically necessary plastic surgery????" ...lol. I've already been to the plastic surgeon, but have been told to wait till I stop losing 10 lbs a month...I just want to get rid of this extra skin. I thought i'd be patient...and couldn't understand peoples desire to rush into the OR again when I was a preop and a new post op...but at almost 14 months out from surgery, I can totally relate.
