-5 for the week, so it seems I am back on track for the last three weeks. I keep expecting the loss/week to slow as I get smaller, but that has not been the case, so far. I am off on a monster road trip, starting today. I will be driving from Texas to Maine, to Florida and back, visiting about 400 communication towers along the way. Living out of a suitcase and eating healthy are not really congruent, but I have developed some strategies which help me on the road. I bought a new Honda Civic coupe on friday just for this project. In gas savings alone, it will pay for a third of the car over the next three months compared to the F-250 that I usually use for these trips. The thought of even squeezing in to a Honda Civic back in November would have been rather humorous. I actually fit in this thing now, and by the end of the journey, I should be down another 20 pounds or so. I do these tower audits myself every once in a while. I actually enjoy the huge road trip adventures. (must have trucker blood in me). Take care. JP

JP -=- Greetings !  One thing you might do, if you have time is to post your schedule and try and meet up with some of the great guys in the locker room. I have done this and it is a great time and when you eat together you don't feel like you have to eat so much. Also is you have room, throw the scale in your car. Good luck and send us some pixs from the top of the towers ..... Can you hear me JP ?  Isn't skinny a great feeling? Take Care and don't look down! KIM

One more wee****il I get my next fill (16Apr07). I am looking forward to gaining the additional restriction. I still feel the band from time to time, but it is getting easier to eat to fast. I know that the band is only a tool, and the real work is still up to me, but my tool still needs a little refining. I am still doing OK with the current fill (4cc’s) but I am sure it will get easier after bumping it up to 5-6cc’s. I started my pre-op diet, Thursday. I guess I'm "officially" in the WLS program now, so here's my numbers. 1st Consultation: 382 lbs.  Today, 4/8           : 366.2 lbs. My goal for surgery, 4/18 is 355 lbs. I need to drop 11 lbs. in 10 days. I think I can do it if I stay on this "styro-foam" food they gave me. DD
