....OK, 8 weeks out from RNY, down about 50 lbs, and have finally become reaquainted with my neck. But even though I'm dropping weight, this double chin is hanging on for dear life.  What am I to expect? Is this ******* gonna eventually get absorbed, or am I gonna have this monster for awhile? Is there any sort of exercises that can be done? I know it sounds stupid, but loose skin on my ass is covered by pants, loose skin on my biceps is covered by sleeves....how the hell do I instigate this extra chin to get the "F" outta here?! BTW, I went from 352 (day of surgery, 1/31), to close to 300 lbs (like 302).....

It depends on your physical makeup, proportions, etc. , but I was the original king of double chin:

My heaviest weight in the pictures was 280 (5'9). The chin really started to dry up about 240.

Some of the skin still remains, but I lost once before at about age 32 and the skin pulled up completely.

I lost my double chin @ 75 lbs.  Now I've noticed a little loose skin under there however I'm ok with that.  Hey,  keep your head up it so it won't show as much. Plus you have a lot to be proud about. 50 lbs in 8 weeks. Your the man.

I don't really have any advice for you, as I'm only 4 weeks out from surgery myself.  Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Simms.
