Any Pain Wussies out there?

Thanks for the reply Scott.  I kinda figured that all ready on the pain issue.  I too have never had any sort of surgery nor have I experienced an abundance of co-morbidities, however, I see the day coming - weight/age factored in. I figure if the pain meds are good and my wife don't hide them on me - then the pain will be manageable.   However, my greatest fear is having the surgery and then begin having problems with the surgery itself, and having a lot of pain, problems.   Anyway - thanks for the honesty!

It's really not that bad...in the sense that you only have intermittent pain.  Most of the first day or two your passed out from the meds anyway.    I told myself I'd never have another surgery after the DS, but a year later and i'm already looking into having some plastics..which i hear are more painful.  YIKES!!!!! But the pain is only temporary...and the long term results are what we're after. Scott
