So far, in the past 6 months since my WLS day, my waist size has gone from a 60" to (as of today) 46" waist! Woohoo! So I celebrated and went out and got a new pair of jeans....46x32! It's working out to be around every 20 lbs means about 2" off my waist or so I figure...and that's cool! Only thing is, a new pair of jeans is lasting about 6 weeks.... Cool! I'm one happy camper up here in canuck land.... Jim

The pants don't lie.  What a great reality check.  You are being successful. Kinda make you want to runa round and yell a little, don't it? I don't recommend it but it does cross my mind occassionally.  I've been stuck weight wise sincce I dropped from a size 50 to 46 but yeasterday I notices puckers in my waistband so maybe,...just maybe, I'm on the vergee of moving downa bit again.  This is a great journey isn't it. Congrads fellow 46 waistline (skinny) brother. Race you to 42s.  I have personal goal of 36s I haven't worn since,...Oh,...7th grade??

wow Jim, what a difference from the 400+ pics. it's amazing that there's still a lot of room to lose. i thought i was done months ago and now i can slip into 30's and at the start i was in 52's. so i know the feeling. congrats and keep going. you'll be in the 30 range in no time......carbonblob

JIm, Your pictures are really amazing.  Congratulations on the progress that you have made.  You lost 16"  in your waist.   Enjoy your new jeans.  You earned them.

Looking good Jimbo!  I'm just about ready to go back for my 2 month check-up at Dr. O's on Monday.  As far as my scales tell me, I've lost 46 lbs. since surgery on Feb. 5th., and you and I are in a dead heat for weight and size.  I too feel that I'm losing about 2 lbs. average per week.  It's a great feeling going down. Keep up the great work. Dale  (A fellow Canuk)
