I wore mine on my third finger until it got too big for that finger.  I stop wearing a ring until I reached my goal weight at that time my wife bought me a new one.  I did not want to have the first cut because she had BECAUSE I LOVE YOU  on the inside of it.  So I had a neckless made for her witht the ring attached for all of her wonderful support she had given me!!!!  THe way they put the hook on the ring when she looks down at it she can see BECAUSE I LOVE YOU.

Quit wearing my 10 years ago, always got in the way, surely it too small now but it just a  ring. Wife only wears her when we go out.Its really to big and gawdy for everyday.  Congratz on getting the finger sausages smaller.

I have run the gammott. It was too small when I had surgery. I never got to wear it. We were fitted about 7 months before we got married and I never tried it on before the ceremony. I had gained weight and it barely slid on, just long enough to get through the ceremony. It is braided tri color gold all the way around, so resizing it is out of the questions from what I have been told. I got to the point where it fit, and now it is too big. Now that I am at goal, I would like to get another one when finances allow it.

I had the same problem - ring slipping off.... and more weight to lose. I had the jeweler install an adjustable "shim" type of thing.  It can be adjusted easily by you as you lose more weight.  It cost me 5 bucks!   Do you have a Zales Jewelers near you?  That is who I used. I am within 8 lbs of goal, and the temporary shim finally broke - so I had Zales resize it  permanently (I hope).  It took them three tries, and cost $40.
