ACK! Plateau ahead.

Help! I've hit my first stalling. I haven't lost anything in two weeks. I'm über careful of what I'm eating, I excercise, and I get my water/vits. What can I do?

how long since the surgery? either way, just be patient and wait it out. i know it's frustrating but it's part of the journey. everybody suffers with it and it's a bummer but one day, boom, weight is gone. keep up with the all the things you just listed and the weight will fall once more. i used to go a month with only one day of weight loss. it was a 5 pound loss but slowly i got all the weight off. make sure you're not starving yourself too. eat too few calories and you'll go in starvation mode and hoard fat. so experiment a little by stuffing yourself with extra protein calories and see what happens. maybe up your cardio a little too.

i'm at maintence stage right now so when i need to lose i just eat more veggies, do more treadmill at longer time intervals and up my protein. that always seems to do the trick for me......carbonblob

I feel your pain. This is my third week with no loss. I'm exercising, eating good, and all my bloodwork is great. It would seem that the weight would continue to fall, but it doesn't. Try to up your water, protein and maybe change your exercise routine a bit. That's what I'm trying, but it's not doing much good for me. Keep it up and it will happen for both of us. Ronnie

I'm at 6 months and am on my third plateau. I even gained 5 pounds the week of my first 10K, training, doing daily mileage,...go figure!!! But none the less,...it has been three weeks and i have even dropped an inch off my waist but nothing on the scales.  But hat inch tells me its coming.  If its like the last two plateaus,.. after 3 or 4 weeks if I am sticking to the program, WHAM, all of a sudden weigh drops off a couple 2-3 pounds a day for 1-3 days.  The first one was at 294 then it dropped to 286  over 4 days, then 277 in 4 more days then plateau.  4 weeks more then 277 went to 268 then 264,...then I went back to 270 but am back to 266 (268 clothed at the doctor Ofc weigh-in). But hey,..if I'm wrong and weight doesn't drop off soon,..I'll get Ronnie to run over me with a truck and see if that helps. Just stay the course,...it will drop.
