Fourth Newspaper FART
Fourth article in the Orange County Register on my weight loss. New picture on the article, too.
Couple of mis-stated facts:
I was in JROTC in high school - 21 years ago, not 17.
My wife's name is spelled Janeene, not how they butchered it in the caption of the second photo.
Other than that, one of the quotes, my surgeon told them that they wanted to see me get to 250-275 lbs. They hadn't given me a number.
Cool thing is, at 347 (this morning's weight), I'm less than 100 lbs away from that! w00t!!

No, it's not a misprint.
My surgeon drills it into everyone he or his office does this for that you take one bite every 10 minutes, a half a sandwich over an hour.
The reason for this is that your stomach has time to process the food before the next bite comes, and you don't strech your pouch out.
I'm a little less than 8 months out, and I can still only eat five or six bites at a sitting. I get full. It's given me a whole new approach to my food, as I eat protien first, and I make sure it's something I'm going to enjoy.
It works man - 8 months and over 300lbs gone.
