Got Me A Date
Hi Alan,
That's great news. Follow your doc's advice, especially about "shrinking" the liver. At our last support group, we heard about a woman who ignored the pre-op diet and whose surgeon got one look at her stiff, fatty liver and sewed her back up without doing the WLS. Whew!
Pre-op is the time to plant the seeds of compliance that make everything better.
We've already got a spot for you on the loser's side of the bench.

Congrad AK. Best of luck with the upcoming cold feet portion of the ride. Don't let the nay-sayers and self-proclaimed experts get you down.
You are on the rollercoaster going up and the best part is just at the peak ahead.
I look forward to your befopre asnad after pictures. Be sure to keep a journal and pics you can study because you won't believe what the scale is going to be telling you afterwards. Go by the loops in your belt and the neck size of your shirts. They don't lie.
Welcome aboard Bro.
way to go Allen!!.... I'm 8 days post- op. I went on a liquid diet about a month before the operation because "I" wanted to loose some weight. My doctor said he was worried about my liver being to big and that he might spend all day in the operating room. But when he opened me up he almost flipped out. The liver had shrunk and he was really happy. It only took he a couple of hours. So hang in there Al.....
