Need a chime in on S/F candy
OK, I have finally went to the store and was getting my kids some candy, I know it was bad of me to get it for them but they run around so much and are so young that I am positive they will burn off the small amount that I got them before the day is out. While doing this, I came across some sugar free Reeses and York Peppermint pattis. what is your guys take on this and is there any suggestions to options to satisfy a sweet tooth?
I am about 15 week post-op and I eat them. I think they taste like the ones with sugar in them. I only eat a few at a time. They also have sf twizzlers ,and dark chocolate. I am not too sure just how healthy they are but they sure taste good.

YAY for SF candies!
BOO for Sugar Alcohols! I know some folks who have the same dumping reaction to SA as they do real sugar.
I have had a couple of the SF Hershey Minis in the last couple weeks and had no problem. (I only ate one at a time and my chocoholic side was super satisfied for several days!)
Read the label where it says "Excessive consumption may cause a laxative effect".
This is a very misleading statement. What it should read is: "Excessive consumption will cause you to $hi+ your a$$ off!!!!!!"
