What About Fruit Juice
Can any one tell me what kinds of side effects that they have had with fruit juice. Especially the Lap Banders out there because that is the procedure that I am planning. The reason that I ask this question is as follows, I am involved with a product that I was given back almost a year ago now to help with a kidney infection. Yeah I know I to was very skeptical myself how ever after being on 3 potent antibiotics and a steroid with out any relief this product not only got rid of the pain but the infection and blood was gone from my urine in 3 days. It is because of this product that I was able to drop 50 pounds over the last 7 months in anticipation of WLS. So I am wondering about being able to continue the use of the product after the procedure. Any and all responses are welcome as usual and I am listing my web-site if anyone wants to know just what I am referring to.

I would check with your DR for sure.  Juice is a no no for me.  FYI....Per my  WLS nutritionist.  Boy, do I miss that sweet taste.  Juice has tons of natural sugar, which can hurt our weight loss.   Good Luck!

My nutrionist said I can have juice but limit to 1/2 cup per day. It has lots of surgar and some have more than others, but its a good surgar but don't over do it.

My RD is very anti-juice.  She calls it liquid candy and I agree.  You get almost none of the beneficial fibre of fruit and all of the sugars and calories.
