Joining a gym

I posted yesterday about my workouts in the pool at my gym.  I found out that my HMO will reimburse me $150 if I visit the gym 120 days during the year.    I also found that some health plans pay the full cost of the gym (even some HMOs).  So, check your health insurance brochures to see if they provide the incentive you need to join a gym.

Bob, That’s motivation to get in all your visits! My INS will cover Phys-Therapy 100%, but nothing beyond that. I did however, utilize my Phys-Therapist To set my early workout schedules for quite some time. Got my "foot in the door" when it came to making the leap To full time exercise. Thanks for the info!
