Monday Coffee Talk
Good Monday morning everyone! Time to rise and shine. Gotta start that new week today. It's gonna be a wonderful Monday and an even better week! RIGHT?!?
That's our challenge today. To keep it positive! In this world we live in, it is easy to be negative. Everywhere you go you encounter negative people. I love everyone, but I can't bring myself to hang around those who are negative. I have a good friend that I love with all my heart, but he is so negative. He looks at the negative in everything. We HAVE to be positive. I am persuaded that if I remain positive, I can get through and overcome any cir****tance that comes my way. If I were negative, I could have laid down and given up or even died a long time ago. My lunch buddy, Miss Mattie is 84 years old and had bladder cancer. They removed it 2 weeks ago and she's in rehab and on the mend. I go see her every day and she amazes me. She is remaining positive. She told me yesterday that she is a miracle and she will be home by next Friday. That's positive. Let's remain POSITIVE in ALL things. Your thoughts are what you become. Think POSITIVE!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on some of the STRONGEST coffee I have EVER sipped on. I think I miscounted the scoops this morning. I'm trying to sip it down. This stuff could wake the dead. I'M POSITIVE that I WILL sip this stuff down.
I hope you have a blessed, wonderful, and POSITIVE Monday!
For every Goliath, there is a Stone! His name is Jesus!"
Morning Randall,
Thanks for the reminder to stay positive. I've found since WLS, for some reason I've become more and more negative. I guess I need a reminder once in awhile so I make an effort to stay positive. Thanks for being that reminder.
Drinking my usual SF Fat Free Hazelnut Latte that my wife makes so good. She sure gives Starbucks a run for their money. LOL
Have a great day, buddy.

Hi Randall! I certainly needed your positive outlook today. I'm sore all over from all the Spring honey do's I did with my wife yesterday around home and just needed a pick me up.
Prayer request, my church organist whom we have loved for 30 years is having surgery this morning. Charmaine Young, she is a dear woman who has a caretaking heart. She took care of her mom until her death at age 97, then her husband recently died, he was 91, Charmaine was finally going to have that Ahhhh time and she started having a pain, it turned out to be Melanoma (sic), she's 79. She played the organ yesterday, surgery this morning and plans to play next Sunday, she is a faithful child of God's! She is not going to give up, she is the most positive person I know.
Thanks a bunch and keep dancing.
