Alrighty then........ Here we go: Miles through March 8: 21 (13 walking, 2 elliptical, 6 stationary bike) Miles through March 15: 27 (12 walking, 1 elliptical, 14 stationary bike) Miles through March 22: 21 (12 walking, 1 elliptical, 8 stationary bike) Miles total through March 22: 69 (37 walking, 4 elliptical, 28 stationary bike) March Goal: 50 miles Percent of month elapsed: 71% Percent of personal goal completed: 138% Percent of 50 mile challenge completed: 138% Additionally, I've lost 10.5 pounds since March 1st, so hitting my targeted pre-op weight loss of 30 pounds is well within sight (down 17 pounds already)! WOO-HOO Does that qualify as a pre-op variant of a FART??? Bill

Without a doubt! Nice work Bill. Exercise can become a habit quickly this way! Never thought I'd be the type of person who would complain about missing a scheduled workout. Now I'm all grumpy if I miss a day.

Heck yeah it's cool. I'm interested if you're feeling any different since you've stared the walking routine? You're one who lost the weight without exercising too much on the weight loss journey. Just wondering if anything has changed for you. Thanks Floyd.

I've noticed that some of my loose skin is tightning up some.  I won't lose enough but I can at least tell a difference.  I'm starting to consider PS now that I've been at my goal for afew months.  The biggest difference is my attitude.  I feel so much better about myself now that I'm exercising.  I saw my old boss today whom I haven't seen in afew weeks.  He told me that I'm really losing weight, but I'm not.  I've been about the same for about 4 months, at least.  I think it has a lot to do with the walking.
