I Need CAR Help(1994Lin. Cont. Air Ride problems)

I know it is not about weight loss, but I know that we were once big men and drove big cars. I have purchased a Linc. Cont. for $100.00 in mint condition except for the air ride suspension does not work. Has anyone ever had the air ride replaced with coils and if so how does it ride??? Thanks in advance. 

No experience with it myself but Strutmasters ( http://www.strutmasters.com/catalog.php?cat=35 ) and Monroe both make struts kits that eliminate the air bags. A Google search will bring up different forums where it has been discussed frequently. Its a very popular issue on these old Lincolns. Good luck. Hawkeye Mike

I know about the big cars... I have a 1997 lincoln mark viii.  I know that you have a Cont and not a mark but I would suggest you go to the forum at www.markviii.org I'm sure someone there can help.
