One year and ONE HUNDRED pounds gone!

Thanks in no small part to the love and inspiration of the fellers' on this board I am so freakin' pleased (yeah, even preachers can say freakin')  to shout to the world that as of my official 1 year surgiversary I hit my first Century Mark!   One year and ONE HUNDRED POUNDS gone from my life forever.  Now comes the hard part...repeating that feat in the coming months!!  I've still got the goal of dropping off another 100 and then hopefully findng a level off place around 190-200 somewere.  I know it's not going to come off as fast for me now, that's ok...as long as it comes off.  I went into the LapBand knowing that the road was a tad longer, but in the end I believe we're all heading to the same destination just as long as we keep moving forward!   So to celebrate, who knows...I might go ballooning with Scott, biking with Boner, lifting with Carbon or Buckeye, fight a fire with Bob, fly over and do karoke with Dave, or my personal favorite,  go sit on a Mexican beach with Alejandro and watch the sun set south of the border....but the thing is, we've all got choices and with our progress and successes through WLS, we've all increased the opportunities we'll have to enjoy many varied and exciting choices in our years ahead.  New life is all up to US...ok, with a good healthy nod to the Creator above from where we get the courage and the fortitude to put that next foot out in front of the other some days!    Here's to the coming years for all of us!!  Padre+

Brother Diamond..you are looking FINE my friend!  I remember your old photo when you first stopped by the Locker Room, you looked like the bit "tanner" twin of one of my old firefighters.    Congratulations on the fantastic success you too have gained this last year!!! Here's to both of us keeping up the good work!

Attaboy Padre! 100 lbs. is definately "taken a load off". That will absolutely open up new areas of life for your amusement and amazement. Enjoy. DD

Congrats, Padre. You've hit one heck of a milestone (and, in to borrow a biblical expression, dropped a mill stone). Here's to a great year for all of us and another mill stone gone for you.

Lap Band on 12/04/06 with
Hey Padre, Congrats on a great loss. I just had the lapband done in Dec. and I hope that I have as great a success as you did.    Here's hoping the next 100 come off like the first. Best of luck to ya ! Dan
