Open mike night was a success!

Our first night with the "open forum" chatroom went off without a hitch.   It wasn't "standing room only" and it didn't get rowdy or racey, but we did manage a few laughs. This really is a great group of guys here. We're all in the same boat, and it's fascinating finding out how we all got here.  I'd encourage everyone to stop by and check it out. Glad that worked out. Sorry I missed the party. Glad you were able to preserve the chatroom thing DD. You are always smiling man, it makes me happier just looking at you,...or is that just an avatar? Hummmmmm...........you're not in sales are you?

My wife thinks that's a goofy picture. I told her to consider the subject matter. We're all in sales, buddy. No matter what we get paid to do. We're our own product. Why not present the best one possible. I did miss you there last night. I figured you got wrapped up in "Dancing with the stars" or "Who wants to marry a gazillionaire" or something equally as compelling. Maybe next week. DD 

I enjoyed a nice hour of informal chat last night.
Just a bit of "Bee-Essing" about a bunch of topics (WLS related and otherwise) I learned a little interesting something about each of the guys there, as well.

And, just as I was signing off... DD chimed in with one of the funniest lines ever (a little to "offensive" to repeat here, though) that had me chuckling the rest of the night!

After the "cluster-eff" of the chat 2 weeks ago, it was nice to banter back & forth with no worrries. If my crazy schedule permits, I'll be back again next week.

Last night’s open mike night was a blast, I had a good time shooting the breeze with a small but great group of guys. I am so glad the room is still up and running, and I hope it will stay open for a long time. So if any of you guys want to stop in on a Tuesday night for some friendly, interesting, and informative conversation (and oh yes some bull too) please stop on in and share. I know I have learned so much from everyone on the boards and the chat rooms. ALL you guys have been a great help to me on my weight loss journey. Hope to see you all next week.

Glad to see that things worked out. If at any time you need help while in chat or something comes up. I know there was a situation a few weeks back that someone came in to stir up trouble. I just wanted you and anyone else to know we have staff who can assist in those situations so please just email us [email protected] and we will assist any way that we can. We want you all to feel comfortable, and one person should not ruin it for the bunch.
