I guess this question is directed to the Post-Oper's.  I know not all Over Weight Men have the Man Boobies, but I do (yippie).  After weight loss do they go away?  Or am I going to have the Saggy Naggies?

On another note, I'm 7 days in on my 14 Day Optifast Diet, Surgery is one week from tomorrow!!!
I got excited this Morning, I got a call from the Admitting Nurse from my Hospital, going thru all my Pre-Surgerey Instructions! (it doesn't take much to excite me anymore)  And my scale say's I'm down 11.3lbs since the start of the Optifast~~~Woohoo!!!

Thanks Guys,
Rocko~~

Mine went away, except for under the arm. I still have some "tube" there. But I'm also still at 255, from 435.

Rocko dude,....one crisis at a time my man.  Everything is going to work out.  You will be come thinner, and healthier, and more active.  My post -op walking has lead to increased walking and the walking to jogging and the body at 50 in May is recovering far better than I had hoped.  I feared needing a lifetime membership at Victorias Secret as I lost and it just hasn't happened that way,...well not so far.  Just focus on hte diet and moving.  Walking is primary but if you like otherstuff, then other stuff is good as you are able to get to it.  Weight lifting provides focus on areas but so does swimming  and tennis and golf.  It is all about toning and tightening and it will come as long as you make the effort.  But you gotta feel better and that will come.   Then CarbonBlob, NotToadlats Dave, Scott, Panhead, Parrothead, and the whole crew will get you pumped and tighten you up on anything you decise to pursue physically. They got all of the angles.  ANd the ones they don't got,...Dr. Dx, Dan, Tim, Bob, May Your Light Burn Bright, SemperFi, and the guys will keep you knowledable and motivated.  Then there is the jokesters and one-line wonders like HePAid4That, Ronnie, Fireman Bill/Scott, Russ, and assorted others that just keep me laughing.  Just stay close and hopefully the concerning areas of flesh will stay close too.

Look to the bright side. If you do get moobs, remove the hair, and you'll never have to leave the house...

Rocko, My “Moobs,” went away completely! Some guys have Plastic Surgery to remove them. The “Skinny” on all of that can be found at- http://www.plasticsurgery.org/patients_consumers/procedures/ Gynecomastia.cfm?CFID=74191332&CFTOKEN=30517735

Exercising the chest and shoulders will help, but genetics and skin health are the biggest factors in having the Man-Titties or “Mitties,” go away with the excess weight… Best Wishes- Dx

hey Rocko, it's like the others guys say, it depends. if you're really big you will have sagging skin and there's no way around it. factors like age, skin type and excess weight all play a role in how well you suck up. my advice would be to weight lift in hopes your chest area will react to the workouts. there are some very specific exercises that will help such as dips and peck deck flyes. however, spot reducing is a myth. you can't just concentrate on your boobs and expect them to melt. the only way to really combat fat is a low fat diet. that will help a great deal. the rest depends on the amount of weight you need to lose. if it's a lot, then you'll have sagging skin and ps is the only answer. hope this helped.....Carbonblob
