It has been a while since I posted. Work has been very busy. Weight Day before Surgery:   275 lbs Last weeks weight:                 212 lbs This weeks weight:                 210 lbs TOTAL LOSS:                           65 lbs It is funny, I have not seen a loss in weigh for 2 - 3 weeks (that I know is normal) but I have seen my pants getting bigger. I guess it is my body changing.   NICE.

The 260's continue to be a struggle.  Now a total loss of 3lbs in the last month after 5lbs a week for the first 12 weeks after surgery.  Been very frustrated.  Friends say it looks like I am still losing inches, so that is a positive part of this.  I'm averaging 600-800 calories a day per surgeon's plan, 60-80grams of lean protein,  working out 5-6 days a week but feel weak and tired most of the time and the scale has hardly moved.  It was nice to see it go down this week, however, instead of going up.

Starting Pre-op: 352.2  RNY 11/13/2006: 345.2 Last Week: 263.6 This week: 261.8 (-1.8 lbs) Total Loss: 90.4 lbs Have a great week.  Looking forward to breaking 260 one of these days. Greg

Hi Guys,

I also have had a frustrating week, possibly a pre-stall (two weeks with no loss).

Day of surgery: 317.5
Last week: 237
This week: 238

I know I need patience like St. Augustine needed chastity, so, to paraphrase the philosophical saint: "Lord, give me patience AND GIVE IT TO ME NOW!"

Doug Sorry to hear you are stalling a little.  Maybe you can shuffle up something this week and shock your body back into loss mode.  Best of luck friend.

Scott, You're right on. I'm going to add more cardio and figure out if I may need to--gulp--up my calories a smidge (on the protein side). I've been through this before in the 270s. My WLS nurse says that it seems as if our bodies "remember" being certain weights and resist going below them. In my case, I did "live" in the 270s and 230s longer that at some other sizes. So who knows? But we do the fix, eh? Water, water, water; walk, walk, walk; eat enough but wisely. Thanks for the good wishes.

Good Morning fellow losers.                 I've been stuck at 180lbs for quite a while-until now. I stepped on the scale last night and am now at 172. I started a new job that I am mostly sitting on my flabby butt so I made an effort to cut down on my food intake, it must have worked. Highest weight 387 Date of surgery Oct 27 2005  341 Mar 17 2007 172
