I'm sure this is normal, but.... For the past couple of weeks.... BRRRRRRRRRR>...  I can't stay warm enough. I used to be a hot box and could heat a room if I were to lay in front of a fan... Now I hug my desk lamp to keep my hands warm. Suggestions? Comments? I'm 7 Months out yesterday.  Lost 82 pounds.  From 320 down to 238 ( WOOOOHOOO!)

Dan,    I can relate, I am also cold all of the time.  I guess we have lost our insulation.   It is easier to bundle up though rather then tring to keep cool.      Congratulations on your weight loss.                        Life is great,  Rick

I miss my insulation in some ways... but not in many others.  It WAS nice to be warm :) But I like to live more than I care about higher heating costs :)

Dan, Boy, do I know what your mean!   I used to joke that the old timers in Minnesota would put their long johns on for the opening of deer season and not take them off until the opening of fishing season.  Now, I’m the same way.  I have been chilled to the bone since last August when the nights started to get chilly. I have been wearing a t-shirts under a heavy flannel shirt and flannel lined pants since last November.  Generally they have kept me comfortable throughout the day.  At night I crawl into bed with two cats and a dog.  Mrs. G sleeps on the far side of the bed and won’t let me snuggle with her because I’m too cold.  We have a dual control heated mattress pad on our bed.  I keep my side set at 8 and Mrs. G sets hers at 4.  A year ago my side wouldn’t have been turned on except in the dead of winter and she would have been snuggling up to me for warmth.  I’ve been told that it gets better in a year or so.

I've never been a layer wearer except when it's really cold outside.  But geesh!  I think I'm gonna have to design some battery powered undies!  That oughta keep me warm. lol

Dan, I'm almost 1 1/2 years from having my RNY and am still cold all the time. Last summer when it was hot as hell it didn't bother me at all, while I used to sweat walking to get the lawn mower out I could weed-eat the whole yard and not break a sweat- and I'm looking forward to HOT again! Stay Well & Warm, you can always put on more clothes but can only take off so much! Woody

Good point ...  I have a vacation coming up in June/July.  It would be the same place as my before picture was taken.  Wow.. what a concept it will be to not be sweating my ass off when I'm fishing all day.. and dying for some air conditioning. Well.. I may still take along a window a.c....but.. it will sure be interesting to have my first summer in over 15 years that won't tip the boat the wrong way.

Thanks for the links Eric I've been off the forums for a few months getting busy with life.  It's nice to finally see a search function that isn't called GOOGLE!!!
