Battlefield 2 is just a co-incidence.  This is going to be a hardware issue of some sort. 1.  Driver issue.  Go to your manufacturer's website (e.g. Dell, Gateway, etc), or the manufacturer sites for the individual components (video, sound, motherboard), and make sure you have all the updated drivers. 2.  Heating.  BF2 is pretty intense on your hardware.  Causes temperature to go up.  Make sure that you have a lot of airflow around the computer, that the computer case itself is closed up and all the panels in the back over the expansion slots are in place, and make sure all the fans work properly and aren't clogged with dust or anything.   3.  .. I had a #3, but due to cranial flatulance, I forgot what it was. I used to play BF2 religiously, but now that I'm in school, I just don't have a lot of time.  Send me a private message, I'll point you at my BF team's website, and you can post on there, the guys there can give you some idea of some good servers to play on.  I've just been out of the loop for too long. Good luck!

One of the common things that happens with heat issues is if the computer crashes after playing awhile does it play the game for awhile longer after you reboot, or does it crash faster the second and third time? That usually means heat has built up and is screwing with it, then check the fans, get a can of compressed air and clean the innerds out, heck, I've taken off the sides of my case to test if it was a heating issue (it wasnt) Like the wise man said, be sure and run windows update as well as updating graphics card drivers etc, depending on where you got your computer or your parts will determine where you go. (Although I built my own, so i just use google or the video card makers website for the most up to date drivers) Does the game tend to crash at a specific point? A cut scene or a part with heavy action? I bet the B2 group will know the answers, man, I need to get that game sometime, right now I'm playing Ster Trek-Legacy, which pretty much blows, but it's fun to see the ships I loved as a kid flying around. BTW, as to the Mac, I love Mac computers, but not enough games on em for me, I like to play as well as work.

Geez, maybe that's the problem with my computer as well - every time a visit a great porn site lately and look at some fantastic store bought boobs on a 20 something gal, my computer heats up and I gotta re-boot :)  And it's usually a "part with heavy action" :)

Actually, I dont think thats your problem. When your looking at your fav 37 DD's online, remember to aim that thing AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER! Your gumming up the works.
