Sorry to hear that your application was rejected.  You should definately appeal.  It may be worth hiring an attorney.

amazingly my surgery was approved on the first try but my wife was denied and we had to hire an atty and he got her approved prettty quickly after just writing one appeal letter, the ins co's just like to make you jump through some hoops sometimes. good luck though
