Blood Spit-up

My friend just had RnY 1 mont ago and is on his way to the emergency room from spitting up blood. Anyone have any idea about what might be a reason? I know it can be a ton of things, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard anyone similar to this. Thanks.

I know it copuld be a few things, i am almost a month out myself and havent experienced nothing like this. Did he stretch his pouch out too much and his staples ripped? has he been put on solid foods and eaten something that wasnt  chewed well enough to go through the pouch with out damaging it? Please keep us filled in, i would like to know how he is doing. Even though I dont know him personaly, he is still a part of the RNY family. Ben (concerned)

Hey guys, sorry it took me so long to get back. I've had network problems at home so I had to waiuntil I got back to work to provide the update. His bleeding has nothing to do with RNY, it has to do with his esophagus. And just like you said, it was due to ulcers. He's doing OK now. Thanks for trying to help out.
